With priceless views and a menu created by the Two French Chefs to drool over, The Overflow Estate 1895 is doing a Christmas feast that rivals…. well… anyone’s!
Olivier Boudon, the Chef de Cuisine at The Overflow Estate 1895 has outdone himself by combining contemporary French Christmas fare with the best produce the area has to offer.
With every detail attended to, the only responsibilities you’ll need to think about for the rest of the day are choosing what wines you’d like to pair with your three course lunch.
With several options of entrees, mains and desserts to select from, some notable features include spanner crab panna cotta with avocado & lemon, or roast turkey & ham slow-cooked, with champs & farmers vegetables, cognac & cranberry jus or Wagyu Beef Wellington, potato gratin & truffle sauce.
And no French-inspired Christmas feast would be complete without a Buche de Noël! The Estate’s version is a Guanaja chocolate Christmas log with a confit of black cherries or another option is the Christmas pudding with vanilla Grand Marnier custard sauce & raspberries.
A lakeside breeze, no washing up to preemptively avoid, and a glass of sparkling in your hand. That’s an ideal Christmas Day lunch!

Time: 11.30am arrival for a 12-noon start. Grazing through until 3.30pm.
