1660 Beaudesert-Boonah Rd, Beaudesert, QLD 4285We are at 1660 Beaudesert-Boonah Road, Beaudesert… or Allenview… or Wyaralong… or Bromelton. Every GPS has us placed slightly differently!!
Never mind, we are easy to find.
A. By Road.
If you are driving from Brisbane, you will head south. There are two options:
- Head west initially towards Ipswich. Follow the Cunningham Highway to Yamanto. Then head south towards Boonah. Turn left (east) onto the Boonah-Beaudesert Rd and travel 15 k. We are well signed and on the left. This will take about 65 minutes and is a beautiful rural drive.
- Head due south to Jimboomba and Beaudesert on the Mt Lindesay Highway. Turn right (west) at Beaudesert onto the Beaudesert-Boonah Rd. Travel 17 k and we are on the right. Again, the signs are very prominent. This will take about 70 minutes and is not as picturesque.
If you are travelling from the Gold Coast, take the Nerang -Beaudesert Road and head up the range. At Beaudesert, take the Beaudesert-Boonah Rd and travel 17 k. We are on the right.
If you are coming from Toowoomba, come down the range on the Warrego Highway as far as Ipswich. Then head south on the Ipswich -Boonah Rd until you come to a “T” junction with the Boonah-Beaudesert Rd. Turn left (east) and travel 15 k. We are on the left.
B. By Air.
If you are coming by Helicopter, your pilot will know where we are. The landing site is in a gloriously lawned paddock adjacent to the Cellar Door. Have your camera ready!
If you are coming by fixed wing aircraft, we have an 800 m grass landing strip. We will collect you by boat for the short trip to our own special island.
C. On Horseback.
You can follow the main roads or trek across country. The air is clean, the grass is sweet and the water crystal clear. Your horse will know the way!
