Our cellar door near Brisbane, at The Overflow Estate 1895, has been purpose built for special events and functions. It is set on a gorgeous island in the magnificent Lake Wyaralong, easily accessible by air, land or water, and only 60 minutes from Brisbane or the Gold Coast.
The tasting room is well equipped and the dining deck opens out onto manicured lawns and gardens. There is a seamless transition into the vineyard and onto the splendid waterway. You will be an integral part of the dazzling ecosystem.
We are also exceedingly flexible. If you want to sit back, relax and just let everything happen, we can do it for you. Alternatively, if you crave the venue only and wish to craft your own event, so be it. Of course, there is a myriad of options between those two extremes and again, we are here to assist and facilitate. You might prefer your own event planner, your own live music or your own wait staff. Just let us know what you want, how you see it unfolding and together, we will design a solution. Remember, you are the epicentre of your event!
Numbers are not an impediment. Formal seating for up to 100 can be accommodated on our Cellar Door deck or 120 people can enjoy a cocktail function. And we can still make it feel exclusive and intimate for smaller friendly groups. Of course, if you’re planning a grand celebration, a garden marquee can be arranged for larger events. The choice is yours. Formality can also be modulated as you desire.
