Lake Wyaralong is an enormous aquifer which accommodates rowing, kayaking, paddle boarding . sailing and fishing. Power boats are excluded so you are ensured of safety and tranquillity. You can easily launch your own vessel or alternatively, link with one of our partners for the experience of a lifetime. Adventure tours thrive under professional guidance.

Bushwalking, hiking and biking are also possible. The northern banks of the Lake provide a home to an internationally recognised mountain bike course. Riders travel from all corners of the globe to sample this gem within the Scenic Rim. The entire course exceeds 70 k but shorter courses can be fashioned for your fitness level.

Pterodactyl Helicopters operate a fantastic service in the region. Day tours can include visits to a handful of regional attractions or you can just land at The Overflow Estate 1895 and enjoy a leisurely lunch. Our island is positioned in the Lake at the end of a beautiful peninsula. Aerial photography options are unlimited.

Private limousine and luxury coach tours provide an excellent means of exploring this corner of South East Queensland. We provide facilities for brief stops with wine tasting and local history stories. You can also linger longer and make it a day to remember.

There are several local wineries and we all support each other. Exclusive tours can be accommodated. We link with the camel dairy, the sheep cheese enterprise and a variety of local historical societies. Craft beer breweries are also on our doorstep. In fact, the Scenic Rim has it all.

Recreational vehicles are welcome. The roads are easily negotiated and manoeuvring is a breeze. Parking is close, level and free. The only risk is you may not wish to leave!

The property also boasts an 800 m grass airstrip suitable for most light aircraft. We can’t quite cope with executive jets yet but we can arrange collection in Brisbane or the Gold Coast and convey you to our paradise with ease.

The property has a sandstone quarry and magnificent stone creations are on display. Private tours can be arranged on request. We also have about 500 head of cattle and you might enjoy a 4 WD tour through the forest, mixing with the livestock and exploring caves, waterfalls, enormous fig trees and hidden burial sites.
